Rosemary Ortlepp gave ISSI all Dave's photographs and negatives as filed away in his study. We scanned all of it in a 'mass production' mode and tried to group them according to Dave's notes on the files which contained the photos and negatives. Many photos are from pages of masters of old reports, some with subsequent scribblings by Dave. In many cases the scanned images of photographs have their equivalents in the 'negatives' section - we have not tried to set up a cross reference system.

We scanned all photographs and negatives in high resolution and then created a sub-set at lower resolution to put on the web site and on this disk. We also applied some automatic image processing to lighten dark area of the pictures - in some case the sofware overdid this, but we retained the original scans on file. In many cases the images are upside down or rotated by 90 degrees - sorry.
