ISS
- The Integrated Seismic System
|
The ISS is a digital, intelligent, high resolution seismic
monitoring and control system, featuring on-line seismological
processing, analysis and Visualization. The latest version of the
ISS is easier to use than ever before, and runs under Microsoft
Windows or SuSE Linux.
In addition to seismic the ISS can also monitor
a number of non-seismic geotechnical sensors. Alarm, control, and/or
scram functions are available whenever signal(s) or certain parameters
exceed preset levels. The system is modular, allowing for easy expansion
and it can vary from a single stand-alone data acquisition unit
with dial-up facility to a sophisticated network connecting a number
of stations via cable and/or optical fibre and/or radio. Technical
support is available 24 hours/day.
